Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Mildride P. Monize, MSN, ARNP

Mildride Pierre Monize, “Mimi”, was born in Miami, Florida. She aim/ Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida (UCF) and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Health Service Administration in 1999. While working full-time in a home health care agency she then obtained her Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix-Maitland Campus. Mimi decided to become a nurse as it was more suited to fit her skills of patience, curiosity and compassion. In 2004, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from UCF’s first Accelerated Program. Mimi worked at the bedside in cardiac and quickly became a cardiac charge nurse tending to the acute and chronically ill patients at a top-rated local hospital for nine years.

During her experience as a RN, she realized that she wanted to do more to educate and empower her patients and their families. As a result, she returned to education (again) and completed her master’s degree in Nursing with a certification in Adult and Gerontology in 2013 at the University of Cincinnati; and a certification in Family in 2015 at University of Boston Massachusetts. She is licensed by the state of Florida and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Her dermatological career began locally in 2013 with Dr. Goodless, later moved to Exquisite Dermatology and Adult & Pediatric Dermatology in Stuart, Florida, where she is formerly trained to treat common medical dermatological conditions, skin cancer management, surgical excisions and aesthetic procedures to include Botox, Derma-fillers, laser/IPL, micro-needling and dermaplaning. She presently works full-time in tending to our veterans as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at the Orlando VA Medical Center in Lake Nona.

When she is not working, she enjoys being a mom to her 2 girls and being the loving annoying wife since 2002. Mrs. Monize firmly believes in providing quality care by forming relationships with all her patients; through grace, honesty and patience.
