Originally from South Florida, Desiree moved to the Orlando-area in to attend the University of Central Florida (UCF). While working toward her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, she was active with Phi Sigma Pi national honor fraternity and her nursing internship at the VA hospital. Desiree graduated UCF with university honors in 2015 and continued to proudly serve veterans in her career as a registered nurse. She has worked in a variety of direct-patient care environments both at the bedside and as charge nurse. Desiree found her work rewarding, she particularly enjoyed educating and empowering patients in their recoveries.

This passion for positive outcomes and patient-centered care inspired her to further her education once again. She returned to UCF to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with focus on family practice. Desiree is now a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is well-equipped through her years of clinical education and professional experience to deliver high quality, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. Desiree is proud to provide every patient the individual attention they deserve in order to fully understand their skin needs and develop a comprehensive dermatologic treatment plan.

Outside of the office, Desiree loves spending time with her husband and dog. She also enjoys the outdoors, reading, travel, and exercise. On weekends you’ll often find her in local parks birding or playing disc golf – always wearing sunscreen and a wide-brim hat, of course!
